It's that time of the year again! The best dance show of the year - Cultural Explosion's Latin Dance Theatre Show - has just gotten bigger and better. Our theme this year is "Broadway Goes Latin", and it's definitely a show that you don't want to miss!
We have taken some of your favorite iconic Broadway Musicals such as Chicago, Grease, West Side Story & some more surprises and added a hot, sexy Latin twist. Your all-time favorite Broadway songs and numbers will be performed before your eyes "Cultural Explosion Style". Come and see how we spice up Broadway by adding some Latin Flavor!!
The date of the show is Saturday, October 17th, 2009. Seating is at 7PM and Showtime is at 7:30PM. Our show will be performed at the gorgeous state-of-the-art Wilkins Theatre located on the Kean University campus. The show will only run on that one night so save the date and get your tickets today!
Currently the show is listed online as "Juan Calderon's Cultural Explosion", but this should be updated soon to Cultural Explosion's "Broadway Goes Latin". When you click on the link below look for either one of these titles which will come up as you scroll down to the date of the show.
Tickets are on sale for only $30 and students are only $20! You must have a valid student ID and/or a valid Cultural Explosion Student Dance Card (with dance lessons remaining) when you pick up your student discount tickets. This is an amazing deal that we worked out for you - our students! As you know theatre shows are not cheap. We are offering you high quality entertainment for a bargain discount price. We promise this show will be unforgettable and definitely one of our best yet, with some amazing dance numbers and many surprises. Cultural Explosion's Pro-Team, Semi-Pro Team and Student Team will be performing as well as our student choreography classes. This means we have a cast of over 50 dancers!!
The Wilkins Theatre has chosen our show as one of the highlights for Hispanic Heritage Month and have been promoting the show to their mailing list, email list, alumni, etc. So act fast as tickets are numbered and seating will be assigned on a first buy first serve basis. Neither Cultural Explosion or Kean University's Wilkins Theatre can hold seats for anyone so make sure you purchase your tickets ASAP.
